Dear Reader,

PPFF (Pan Pacific Film Festival) is a Christian Film Festival, which is dedicated to serve and encourage film makers to produce excellent films and, in turn, motivate people to know God. PPFF is also to challenge talented people to make good Christian-themed films. The films submitted will be distributed and used in many mission countries as well as throughout the USA. The nominated films will be distributed in tens of thousands of DVDs, through the iPhone App, and the website to reach the entire world.

Media and IT (Information Technology) are the most powerful tools for the mission in the 21st century. The Bible tells us There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven(Ecclesiastes 3:1). We believe that this is the time to use the tools of mass media and technology available to us to effectively spread the word of God and His message of love and peace. In particular, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His other acts of love can be portrayed through powerful media images that will help to convey the grace and power of God and in doing so draw many souls closer to Him. IT (Information Technology) is as powerful as the mass media in achieving the goals of the mission.

However, the festival cannot run without the generous support of individuals and/or organizations that wish to help spread the word of God and his message of love and peace through film. Please prayerfully consider joining this new, media-based mission movement by supporting the film festival. We have monthly giving programs of $10 and $20 as well as one-time donation programs available above.

All donations will go towards media mission efforts of The Pan Pacific Film Festival and its hosting organization, Global Media & IT, to make Christ's name known in all nations on Earth.

As a whole, the films, especially the documentary film, were very good, and very inspiring. These are the types of films that the faith-based community should encourage.
